Activate Exercise Referral Scheme
Activate Gym, which is situated at Swadelands School, in conjunction with Len Valley Practice has set up an Exercise Referral scheme. The aim of the scheme is simple! More physical activity whether it be walking on the treadmill, cycling or taking part in one of the low impact fitness class offered by Activate, will improve your health.
The exercise referral scheme at Activate is available to people who have been referred by their GP. Those who are referred may be suffering from medical conditions, such as:
- Arthritis
- Depression/anxiety
- Diabetes
- Hypertension
- Respiratory problems
For a number of conditions exercise is of a benefit to the patient, whether that means improving the condition or helping the patient to cope more on a day-to-day basis living with their condition
This is an ideal opportunity to improve your health and fitness under the guidance of a qualified fitness consultant, as well as meeting new friends and having fun along the way. You can take advantage of our one-to-one personal training plan and our state of the art Life Fitness Vivo system. Vivo is a computerised program that helps members to achieve their goals, it also boosts customer – instructor interaction.
